Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Your Margot & Bear harness is made for cool dogs! But even the coolest pups get a little muddy sometimes! Here's how to keep it looking fresh and fabulous:
- For small messes, a gentle wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap will do the trick.
- For a deeper clean, soak in lukewarm water with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and let it air dry flat.
- Pop it in a laundry bag and wash on a gentle, cold cycle. No tumble drying, air dry only!
- No bleach, no fabric softener, and definitely no ironing - your harness prefers to stay soft and strong.
How To Measure
How To Measure
Getting the pawfect fit is key to strutting safely in style! Here’s how to measure your four-legged fashion icon:
🐶 Step 1: Grab a soft tape measure
🐕 Step 2:
Neck: Measure around the base of your dog’s neck, where a collar would naturally sit. Think “snug but not squishy.”
Chest: Measure the widest part of the chest—usually just behind the front legs. This is the most important one for harness sizing!
Safety First, Stylish Always
Safety First, Stylish Always
Before every adventure, give your harness a quick once over:
- Look out for frayed edges, loose stitching, or any weakened buckles.
- If your pup’s been having a nibble (we get it, harnesses are so tempting), make sure there are no bite marks or rips that could compromise safety.
- Make sure the harness still fits snugly, not too tight, not too loose. You should be able to slip two fingers under the straps.
- If anything looks suspicious or worn out, it’s time for a replacement, your dog deserves only the best (and safest)!
